monkey love.

the paper.

I DIYd all the paper elements, with the exception of the Save-the-Dates.  I designed all the elements in Adobe InDesign, then had them printed by a local printer.  The paper and envelopes all came from LCI Paper.

The Save-The-Dates were ordered from Magnet Street.  I chose the circle bliss magnet design.  The great thing about magnet street is not only can you customize the text and colors, you can also make changes to the basic design if it doesn't fit your needs.  The original design had a big black bar across the top which I absolutely hated, so I requested that the circle design be extended to the top with the Save The Date text added over it.  This was my attempt to photoshop out the black bar, the final product looks so much nicer.

The pink layer of the invitation is Stardream Azalea 105lb. shimmer cardstock.  The white layer is printed on Stardream Crystal 105lb. shimmer cardstock.  They turned out so great, I can't wait for everyone to get them!

My mom and I hand calligraphed all the inner and outer envelopes.  Calligraphy is so easy to learn, I got it down after one 3-hour long class at our local community college.  We each took a portion of the envelopes (my mom took 2/3 because she was injured and had a lot of spare time, and I took 1/3) and got them all done over a period of 2 days.
This picture is from my celly so the quality is horrible.  The envelopes are bright white, and the inner envelopes are lined with a fuchsia liner (Double Envelope Tiffany White Hot Pink Lined).

The RSVP cards and Enclosure cards are both printed on Stardream Crystal 105lb. shimmer cardstock.  Each card is 3x5. The RSVP cards either have 1, 2, or 3 seats reserved with 1, 2, or 3 M lines, respectively.  Also included with the RSVP card is an A4 Envelope in Fuchsia Smooth.

Above is my program inspiration.  Our program will be on 81T Stardream Crystal shimmer paper, backed with Stardream Azalea 105lb shimmer cardstock and tied with 1/8 inch orange ribbon.  Below are the 4 pages of the program.

The escort cards will be printed with the guest's name and table assignment.  Food choices will be indicated by the color of the fleur de lis at the top - pink for beef, orange for chicken, half/half for vegetarian (not pictured).
We will just print these on our home printer with printable escort cards from Michael's or Target or some such store.

I love circular menus, so we will have one menu at each seat.  The menus are 7x7 and printed on Stardream Crystal 105lb. shimmer cardstock.
